CHROMIFIED

Due to the post of my friend (link), I’ve decided to try chrome for a week. I will use this post to update as I discover things I like/dislike.

LIKE:

• In Grooveshark, the scrolling through the songs tab is not messed up. In Firefox, this would spaz like crazy and it was really annoying. Basically when I scroll my wheel through the horizontal list of songs, it would keep jumping back and forth.
• Similar to my friend’s post. Tab management is very intuitive in chrome. This I like.

DISLIKE:

• Links in facebook required multiple clicks to register…I don’t know if this carries over to other pages, but I’ve never had a problem like that in FF.
• This really pisses me off. I like the browse pages from google searches, then press back on my mouse to get back to the search results, but chrome will skip back to the last result I browsed. This is SO annoying! IE does this too. FF does not. EDIT: I think this is because chrome cannot register a single “back” click from my mouse.
• No AdBlockPlus.
• Lack of convenient save and quit button.
