Current Projects
I like to call things I am currently doing “projects.” These are things beside of regular research, academic obligations, etc, that I do in my free time. They are usually computer related, and many times gaming related. So my last big project was in Crossfire, and I achieved that last month. (See post from 12/8). I have not played the game since. Now, I am working on:
1) Tetris: Goal is to get sub-minute sub-1:10 on 40 line sprint. I am currently at ~1:15. 15 seconds may seem like nothing, but it is a ridiculous amount in tetris. Anyways, I’ve been playing way too much on tetrisfriends, which is actually a big waste of time. So I will cut that out from my project path and play exclusively on hi-games unless I have friends who want to play.
EDIT: I changed it to 1:10 because today I was practicing and I basically just watched three hours pass by just playing tetris. BAD.
2) Finish Red Dead Redemption. I started this game so long ago but I am pretty lazy to go sit in front of the TV and boot up my xbox to play. It is pretty fun and I should really finish it though.
3) Finish Startcraft II Campaign: I wanted to finish this and actually the original reason I bought this was because I wanted to try making custom maps. So I will probably get around to this and get it done.
4) Project Euler. I am doing this with Anthony, and we’ve gotten to problem 8 so far.
I also recently purchased many games on Steam’s glorious sale, so after Red Dead, Tetris, and SCII are done I will probably move into Batman: Arkham Asylum (GOTY). Then NFS: HP.
